The 1sts lost away to Longford by 135 runs. The home side batted first and made 296-07 and despite yet another 50 by Srikanth Boddu, ten man Sandyford fell well short of the total, being all out for 161. Srikanth has now become the highest run scorer in a season for Sandyford.

The 3rds were beaten at home by Knockharley by 146 runs. Knockharley batted first and made 169-05 but Sandyford made a disastrous reply, being dismissed for 27, the 6th lowest total in the Club's history, despite opener Sankar Indraganti remaining not out!

Better luck for the 2nds against Mullingar. Batting first, Sandyford made 166 (Prem 39) which Sandyford defended well, with the opposition falling 10 runs short (Amandeep 8-2-16-3).

For the second year in a row the 3rds lost in the semi-final of the Cup. Batting first, Sandyford only made 102 which Merrion 8 easily knocked off for the loss of 3 wickets.

The weather was the winner  in the other two games on Sunday. The 3rds entertained Rush 4s in Marlay and Sandyford batted first and were dismissed for 109. A shower followed and Rush were in no hurry to take the field and the game was abandoned.

The 1sts were away to Knockharley and had reached 157/04 (Ramji 51* and Srikanth 44) when the weather closed in and the games was abandoned.

Finally, congratulations to Darren O'Brien who earlier in the week became a proud father to a baby boy,  Donagh O'Brien.

The 2nds game on Saturday against Mullingar was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.

The 3rds game on Sunday against North Kildare also fell foul of the weather and was called off.

A much needed win for the 1st over Railway Union 4 in sun drenched St. Colomba's on Monday. Batting first, the visitors made 221-09 but thanks mostly to a 137 stand between Srikanth Boddu and Ramji Padmanaban, Srikanth being eventually out for 130, Sandyford made the total for the loss of 8 wickets.

Srikanth Boddu's 130 helped the 1sts beat Railway Union
