The fixtures for the new season are now available in the Fixtures section. The opening game of the season sees the first team take on Trinity in College Park and the 3rds hosting Laois on the same day in Marlay Park. There are 46 fixtures in all, lets hope some good cup runs will add some more dates to the list.

It is that time again men as the cold evenings are upon us. Winter nets start Thursday 18th February 2010 at Wesley College Dundrum. The sessions will be from 9pm- 10pm ish and we are planning to start the warm ups outside from 8.30pm to make the most of the time we have inside.

The usual cost applies, namely 8 euro a session or 10 for 70 euro. If you have a friend who is interested or you would be able to put up a sign at work on a notice board then contact me as I have some posters done up that I am going to put up around the area in Dell, Vodaphone, Microsoft ect to try and get a few more people interested in the game this year.

Hope to see you all there.

Martin Potts (Club Captain)

Leinster Cricket Union

In 2007 the Leinster Cricket Union  announced plans to reorganise the league and cup structures starting in the 2010 season. This also defines all clubs as having equal standing within the game therefore clubs will no longer be defined as Junior and Senior Clubs.

The LCU have now announced the first draft of the new league structures showing 13 different divisions named as Division 1, Division 2 etc.

Sandyford's teams will be playing in the 7th, 8th and 11th divisions respectively.
